Goodbyeee.

So after a very busy schedule, we have to say good bye to the Western Front.

Our students over the last few days have walked through WW1 German and English trenches , traversed monumental craters, explored the caves and tunnels of Arras. They have walked over 20 miles, made their own beds (!), participated in the Menin Gate ceremony. They have handled shrapnel ,rifles and they have possibly eaten far too much chocolate (or maybe that was just the staff..). They have tried French cuisine, and they have sampled croissants. They have shown a huge amount of maturity, sensitivity and awareness of one of the most significant, life changing global events that have taken place in our millennium. They have recognised the dreadful cost of life given up by the many.

BCA Belgium 2019 students and staff- thank you for making the trip so memorable.
